A healing sound bath will be offering participants a novel approach to meditation in Vaughan during the upcoming new moon.
The workshop, organized by The Healing Home, will offer a sound therapy experience intended to relax and heal the physical and emotional body. During the one-hour session, facilitators will expose attendees to various sound-producing devices such as gongs, idiophones, chimes, and crystal bowls. People are not required to have prior experience or knowledge to register for the event.
According to the organizer, the sounds emanating from the instruments create vibrations that are perceived by the body as waves passing through, slowing breathing, providing cognitive release, emotional tranquillity, and deep relaxation.
Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mats. Water bottles, blankets, and sleep masks are optional, but recommended for added comfort during the session. The moon is expected to enter its dark phase, leaving the night sky without moonlight, providing extra darkness for participants to relax.
The Healing Home’s planners will livestream the event, requiring attendees to sign a consent form. For people who do not wish to be filmed, the organizer has instituted a privacy option.
Local businesses frequently rely on flyer printing services to share event details and reach participants within the community.
The workshop will take place at The Healing Home, located at Unit 8A, 10462 Islington Avenue, Vaughan, on Friday, December 19, 2025. The activity is due to begin at 8:00 pm.
