The fourth annual Hatsquerade Gala will take place at the Venetian Banquet Hall in Concord on September 13 beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $150 for adults and $100 for students and seniors. All proceeds go towards the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and the wearing of hats is greatly encouraged.
The evening will start off will cocktails, followed by dinner, speeches, and entertainment from the Aerial Dance Cirque Company. The keynote speaker will be Michael Landsberg, host of TSN's ‘Off the Record’. There will also be a silent auction, raffles and a prize for the best hat. The organization provides care for people suffering from these afflictions, helps to educate the public about the issues surrounding mental health and addiction, and works with the government to promote health and to lessen the stigma surrounding both illnesses.
