During a recent gala evening held at the Paramount Conference and Event Center, the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce came together for a very special celebration.
The organization honored its brightest and best at its 25th annual Business Achievement Awards. It paid homage the successes of its members and the contributions they make to their community.
Altogether, 650 guests attend the party, including dignitaries and community leaders. The emcee and keynote speaker was Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemens.
One person who received a very special award was Rudolph Bratty, who is the owner of Remington Group, as well as Bratty’s LLP. Due to his contributions to local charities and his community involvement, he was given the Philanthropic Business Person of the Year Award.
Remington Group was lauded as being one of the most successful real estate development companies in the country.
According to its president, the Chamber has a long history of recognizing business excellence, and that night was no exception. She also noted that it is there to support local businesses, and to advocate for them with all levels of government, adding that it also contributes to the overall culture of the city and buoys many different community organizations.
