The 9th annual Woodbridge Rotary Ribfest is taking place this August for three days. A fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Woodbridge, it helps to fund the organization’s local and international projects.
Visitors will be treated to ribs provided by several local restaurants. There will be midway rides and games, a beer garden serving Railway City, and lots of children's activities.
Some of the musical acts who are already confirmed for this year's festival include Simone, Lina Fouro, Ufaria, Rollercoaster Jupiter, Skrou, and a British Invasion tribute. Performances will start each day at 12:00 noon.
The finals of ‘What's Your Talent?’ will be held on the first evening, with host Craig McRae. Area residents get the chance to show off their talents to the public.
In addition, vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of arts and crafts and other merchandise.
Organizers will likely be investing in services such as flyer printing to let people in the area, including those from nearby Vaughan, about this tasty annual fundraiser.
The Woodbridge Rotary Ribfest is being held at the Woodbridge Fairgrounds from August 7 to 9. ‘What's Your Talent?’ will take place on the main stage on August 7 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. To find out more about the festival, such as the price of admission or food, call 905-851-0690.
