Creative art exhibition returns to Vaughan
After a successful debut last year, the Creative Mind Exhibition will be holding its second edition in Vaughan this July.
The event was co-founded by Madeline Rose Fiore and Rebekah Rizzo as a way to encourage artistic community. There will be installations of visual art around the area in a variety of styles. Guest artists include Paige Tanya Lynn Thomson, Juniper Inglis, and Senzenina de Freitas. Visitors can also see art in motion in the form of a fashion show, dance, and musical performances. There will be live participatory activities such as flash tattoos, a raffle, and a canvas for community members to paint on. There will also be a film screening with free popcorn provided.
There will be food trucks and other refreshments available at the Exhibition. Performers and exhibitors are selected from the local artistic community. Events such as this often use social media and flyer printing to help show off their unique aesthetic vision. Promotional material for the Exhibition recognizes its interdisciplinary nature:

“The Creative Mind originated from believing in the power of storytelling beyond traditional labels like writers, photographers, directors and visual artists. They strive to inspire creativity and share diverse art styles through this event.”
