Bauer to open new superstore in Vaughan
Vaughan hockey players and their families will soon have an opportunity to shop in a store that has been designed using a superstore format.
Bauer Hockey recently announced that it plans on building this style of store in Vaughan. It will be its first of its kind outside of the US.
The company has built two locations of this type so far, with one in Minneapolis, Minnesota and one in Bloomington, Massachusetts. According to the company, it has plans to build as many as 10 of these locations across North America over the next few years.
The 2,230 square metre retail outlet, which will be named ‘Own the Moment’, will feature an indoor ice surface of 297 square meters in size, as well as a wide variety of sporting merchandise and other products. There will also be highly trained staff available to assist customers in making their purchases. Wide format printing can be used to create banners and other display items for use in large stores such as this.
Bauer mainly manufactures hockey equipment, but it also owns other brands that are used in sports like baseball, softball, and lacrosse. Most of these brands of equipment are currently sold in established retailers such a Sport Check and Canadian Tire.
