Vaughan has just released its 2011/2012 Fall & Winter Recreation Guide, which should be in all homes by July 30. In addition to printing and distributing the Recreation Guide, Vaughan will also be distributing a brochure for the City Playhouse Theatre and a brochure for Doors Open Vaughan along with that guide.
The full-colour guide displays in an easy-to-read format the programs available through the city of Vaughan. It is colour-coded by section and has a new layout from the previous Recreation Guide. A digital version of the guide will be available online.
Services and items contained in the Recreation Guide include a list of recreation facilities and their programs, information on special needs classes, courses in such subjects as stage craft and photography, available outdoor amenities like skating rinks and swimming pools, special promotions like passes and half-price coupons for various events, information on after school programs and day camps, information on annual city events and registration start dates for courses and facilities rental.
The Fall and Winter Recreation Guide is being mailed out but it will also be available at all community services buildings, public libraries and Vaughan City Hall. And, as stated above, there will be a digital version of the guide available on the City of Vaughan website.
