The history of Mississauga will be on full display when a local venue welcomes a tour that will explore the community's spooky side.
The 24th annual Haunted Mississauga tour will be on offer at St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, and it will celebrate the venue’s 200th anniversary. The tours will be led by a trained guide, and will depart from the starting point every 20 minutes.
The activity has been organized by Heritage Mississauga and its community partners. The guides for the tours will bring history alive as they relate stories from Mississauga’s past. There will be costumed characters to help bring the tales to life, and each walkabout will run for approximately 45 minutes. Both adults and children are welcome, but as tickets are expected to be reserved quickly, it has been advised that anyone interested secure theirs in advance. Sturdy shoes and flashlights are recommended, and the paths walked will be on uneven ground. Everyone is reminded to dress for the weather.
Halloween, ghost walks and other events with a spooky edge may benefit from the services on offer at local banner printing companies. They can prepare decor as well as volunteer applications, marketing Posters, signage and other custom materials.
Heritage Mississauga has scheduled its Haunted Mississauga 2025 Heritage Tour for October 24th. The first tour will depart from 3041 Mississauga Road at 7:00 pm.
