Mississauga's Carassauga festival returns
Celebrate the unique cultures that call the Mississauga region home at this upcoming festival.
For the past 40 years, the Carassauga Festival of Cultures has steadily grown until it has become Canada's largest multicultural festival, designed to celebrate Mississauga's diversity.
Originally started in 1985, the Carassauga Festival is a city-wide, family-friendly event designed to bring people of all ages to celebrate the unique cultures that call Mississauga home and create a safe space to build understanding and respect between Canadians of all heritages. Throughout the festival, there will be over 2,500 performers showcasing unique aspects of their cultures. For those who like to be more hands on there will also be a wide range of arts, crafts and dance lessons and over 50 cultural food vendors on site.
Unique festivals like Carassauga often utilize printing services to bring to life different aspects of their event, such as their unique ticket, which is designed as a passport and gives the holder access to the different pavilions, live entertainment, children's activities, foods, MiWay bus routes, and the Carassauga shuttle buses.
The Carassauga Festival of Cultures will occur on May 24 and 25, 2025, with pavilions throughout the city. The Carassauga Passport can be purchased through the event website and is $15.00 per person, with children under 12 being free with an adult passport holder.
