Mississauga to host healthcare employment expo

Mississauga employers in the healthcare field will be hoping to connect with potential employees during the job fair planned for the city.

The Grand Victorian Convention Centre is set to be the place to be in early March for anyone interested in learning more about the opportunities open to them in the healthcare sector. This will be the springtime instalment of the expo, and a second edition will take place in the fall.

Those who attend the function will be able to meet with employers ranging from hospitals and care centres to doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and their allied professions. Pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution will be in the mix as well, as will medical equipment, and there will be a chance to learn about various local training programs. Admission is free for the candidates, and anyone interested is encouraged to book their ticket now.

Starting or changing a career can involve a leap of faith, and attending an expo may help those who are taking the plunge to discover opportunities open to them. Business Cards, professional resume printing and other support for job seekers and employers alike can be obtained from area printers.

The Healthcare Career Fair will offer those interested in joining the field the chance to hit the ground running on March 17th. The doors will open at 1:00 pm.
