Commodore computers were once all the rage, and a Mississauga event will bring those days back for anyone who enjoys vintage computing or just “adores their 64”.
The Admiral Inn and Suites located at 2161 North Sheridan Way will be the place to be for those who love Commodore computers. It's been dubbed “ World of Commodore”, and will have models for the late ‘70s until the ‘90s. Commodore 64s, Commodore PETs and Amigas will all be in the mix along with others, and there will be lots to browse through.
The attendees will be able to meet other enthusiasts, and there will be demonstrations of both new software and hardware. Videos will be screened, and there will be an assortment of vendors on hand. A freebie table will provide an opportunity to score some “new to you” items while providing the chance to pass along some older ones, and at least eight sellers will be on hand. Presentations have been planned, and the full schedule of these will be released once it becomes available.
A retro computer or gaming expo may spark a lot of public interest. A poster printing company can provide a full line of effective marketing options.
This show and sale centred on Commodore hardware and software and the people who love them will be on offer on November 30th and December 1st. Both single and two day passes may be purchased through its web listing.
