A Mississauga event is aiming to help seniors make the most of their golden years.
CARP’s Mississauga chapter has a function in the works for this fall that will connect older adults with support, activities and service providers who can help them live their best life. It is scheduled to be open to the public for five hours, and tickets start at $5.
This will be the first time that the Aging With Vitality Expo has been on offer, and its organizers anticipate that it will attract a large crowd. A selection of speakers will address attendees, and these will be focused on topics such as health and nutrition. Lunch is included in the admission price, and a bingo game will give everyone a chance to win a variety of prizes. A door prize draw will also take place, and everyone who comes out is encouraged to bring a friend along with them.
