Mississauga folks who are looking to network with others who share their love of ‘geekery’ are invited to the perfect event this fall.
Billed by its organizers as being the greatest opportunity for nerds to network that the community has ever seen, Networking for Nerds will include a variety of activities for all to enjoy. There will be video and board games, trivia contests, technology demonstrations, and much more. Various local service providers and other vendors will have display set up, and an assortment of foods, such as poutine, will also be available. A company that creates ad specialties will be able to produce customized ones specifically for a function such as this.
The plan is for it to be a friendly event for all, and those who are not familiar with the process will be guided towards different activities and people who they may find interesting.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, starting at Nerd Pixel level for just $10 and going right up to Full Title level. These can range from acting as a sponsor for just this event, all the way to sponsoring all of the 10 that will be held across Ontario and Quebec.
Networking for Nerds will be held at the STIR Kitchen & Beverage Co. in Mississauga on November 1, starting at 6:00 pm. Further details are available online on its Eventbrite listing.
