Mississauga neighborhood to offer warm welcome to the holiday season

The holidays are just around the corner, and Mississauga’s Streetsville neighborhood will soon be lighting up the night in celebration of the season.

This will be the third year in which the community will be hosting a tree lighting ceremony, and according to the group planning the festivities, they will be bigger and better than before. The fun will begin once it starts to get dark, and it will kick off a weekend of activities.

It is anticipated that the crowd will start gathering in Streetsville Village Square starting at 5:00 pm, and this is when the beer garden, maple taffy station and Christmas Market will be open for business. The lighting ceremony will take place at 7:30 pm, and there will be entertainment, photo opportunities with Santa, and horse drawn carriage rides on offer as well.

An event like this can be an opportunity for the community to come together for an enjoyable experience, and local Print shops can help. They can supply Banners, decorations, treat Bags, colouring Books, stickers and many other items that can be distributed to the crowd.

This year’s tree lighting ceremony will be taking place in Streetsville on November 23. It is just one of the holiday-themed activities that has been planned for the neighborhood, and more details can be found on the occasion’s website.
