An expo aimed at senior citizens will be taking place in Mississauga in September.
There’s a popular saying about an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure, and the expo will be taking a page from this well-known maxim.
Seniors from Mississauga and surrounding areas are invited to an event that may be able to help them live their best lives. It will be focused on physical and mental health, and while attendees browse, ask questions and meet area professionals, they will be able to connect with other older adults.
A curated group of at least 30 service providers and other health care experts will be in attendance at the CARP Mississauga Senior’s Health Expo, and admission is free. There will be an assortment of workshops going on throughout the day, and along with the medical professionals giving presentations, there will be details shared about volunteer opportunities that are on offer in the local community.
The organizers noted that there will be a round of Bob’s Bingo built into the schedule. Printers can provide a variety of Corporate Gifts that can be used as prizes for this sort of function.
