An upcoming fundraising event that is aiming to help to make sure everyone in Mississauga has a warm place to call home will see walkers brave the February cold.
Eden Food for Change will be organizing the Mississauga Erin Mills instalment of the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser, and it will be following a COVID-19 safe format. The whole family can get involved, and even if they cannot take part themselves, everyone can still lend a hand by making a generous donation.
Participants can take place in the fundraiser either by themselves or as part of a larger group. The organizers of this funding and awareness raiser have explained that there are several ways for the community to help the homeless through this activity, whether they want to walk, volunteer or act as a business sponsor. The Logo Design of all the local companies that have chosen to support the function can be found on its official website, along with additional information about them that may be of interest to the community.
The date for this year’s Coldest Night of the Year walk has been set for February 20th, and a goal of raising $40,000 has also been set for the occasion. Those who would like to get involved are encouraged to visit its website to learn more.
