Residents of Mississauga will be welcoming the arrival of the Lunar New Year this January with an activity filled with the culture and cuisine of South East Asia.
The Tastes of SEA 2023 Lunar New Year festival will offer three days of fun, and its organizers hope it will be a one-of-a-kind occasion. It will work to promote the cultural footprint of the region in Canada, while also drawing attention to the issue of human trafficking.
Hosted at The International Centre, the celebration, which was inspired by Winterlicious, will feature food, art, music and other cultural activities. The whole family is invited to be part of the experience, and a fashion show, live concert, multicultural parade and other events will all take place. Raffle draws have been planned, and to thank the first 1,000 ticket buyers for their purchase, they will be receiving special Corporate Gifts.
Tickets for the festival may be purchased now. There are both single and unlimited options available, with varying prices, and while they may be purchased at the door, they will be cheaper to purchase online.
The 2023 Tastes of SEA 2023 Lunar New Year festival will begin on Friday, January 13th and wrap up on Sunday, January 15th. It will be taking place in Hall 3 at The International Centre in Mississauga.
