A showcase of plant-based nutrition is on the agenda for this June. Mississauga's medical professionals, nutritionists, and members of the public are all invited to take a seat during the event, and the registration fee starts at $50.
The inaugural ‘Canadian Plant Based Nutrition Conference’ will be all about the benefits of switching to a diet that is based on plants, and the information shared will be evidence-based. It will touch on subjects ranging from diabetes to obesity, cancer and mental health. At lunch, the delegates will have an opportunity to see the theories they have learned put into practice when they enjoy the plant-based lunch and other refreshments.
The conference will be exploring the benefits of adopting a lifestyle based on plants from the perspective of both an individual and world community as a whole. Dr. David Jenkins will give the keynote speech, and a full description of the symposium and the topics that will be covered has been made available through its online listing. Posters that promote a function like this can be created by a poster printing company, and these be highly effective when it comes to spreading the word about it throughout the area.
The Michener Institute of Education, University Health Network will be the location for this opportunity to explore the benefits of vegetables. It will be offered on June 1.
