Container gardening can be a good option for those who do not have a yard, and those who would like to get their hands dirty may enjoy being part of an upcoming workshop that will introduce the joys of the practice.
The class will introduce the basics of designing a container that can be grown on a balcony, patio or even just a front doorstep. It can be a good choice for the beginner, and it will be held at The Riverwood Conservancy in Mississauga.
The learners in the session will find out how to choose which plants are best for a particular location, and this will be paired with a discussion of which species and cultivars do well when grown together. After this, the group will design and install a planter that will be deployed at the front of Chappel House. Tickets are $10 each, and a half price discount is available for The Riverwood Conservancy members.
The venue will be accessible to those who require a mobility deceive. Workshops offer a chance for those who are interested to learn more about a particular topic, and handouts for these activities can be sourced from Stationery printers.
The Spring Decorative Planter Design will offer a relaxed introduction to the joys of container gardening on April 12th. It will begin at 5:00 pm at 4300 Riverwood Park Lane. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
