Canada Post to speak at Print World conference

Canada Post is a huge conveyer post across the country, and will be delivering a special presentation during the special focus ‘Postal World’ during this year’s Print World conference.

Print World will be held from November 17-19 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto and will welcome industry leaders from Mississauga, Toronto and all over Canada.

The Canadian national large mail sorter doubtlessly has an enormous impact on the processing and dissemination of print and has powerful influence over the industry at large. This is the first time there will be a Canada Post booth at the show and exhibits are expected to include reputable suppliers, paper mills and postal industry representatives from the National Association of Major Mail Users (NAMMU.

Mr. Jacques Cote, this year’s keynote speaker, will deliver the presentation scheduled on November 19 from 9 a.m to 10 a.m, prior to the opening of Postal World. Canada Post’s involvement comes after a $2 billion investment in its Postal Transformation Program, which will integrate diverse sorting machines and improve deliveries. It also follows new Mail Guide Specifications that will be integrated in 2013. The new specifications would permit more creativity and envelope design freedom.

The Print World convention offers a fantastic opportunity for print industry participants to meet, network and discuss significant issues facing the present and future of the print industry with key players. Print companies in the Mississauga and Toronto areas should register their attendance at the 2012 Print World Trade Show & Conference as soon as possible.
