The Eden Mills Writers Festival will be back for another year, showcasing authors and publishers from Ontario and beyond.
The festival is in its 34th year and is known for its unique, pedestrian-friendly setting in a small village just east of Guelph. It will feature dozens of writers from all genres, including Alberta essayist Kit Dobson, acclaimed novelist Cary Fagan and bestselling writer and CBC radio columnist Jael Richardson. The festival schedule typically includes readings and panel discussions from guest authors, alongside a marketplace area with displays from local publishers, booksellers and authors, providing attendees the opportunity to get rare or signed Copies of Books.
The Eden Mills Writers Festival will also have programming dedicated to children and families, with children’s and young adult authors such as Danielle Daniel, M. T. Khan and David A. Robertson. The festival will include a food court area with refreshments from local vendors.
