Vegan festival returns to Guelph this fall

The 4th annual Vegfest Guelph is taking place next month.

The festival is a celebration of veganism as well as an educational conference that will feature expert speakers who will provide information for those who are thinking of becoming vegans.

There will also be a children’s fun area, musical entertainment and cooking demonstrations. Everyone through the door will also receive a grab bag filled with Promotional Products and samples from participating sponsors.

Over 50 vendors will be on hand to sell vegan-related merchandise such as food, natural clothing as well as arts and crafts. Local community groups and animal rescue organizations will also be hosting booths. Organizers are still accepting vendor applications until August 19. Fees are $325 for general merchandise, $150 for non-profit organizations, $50 for animal rescue groups and $250 for food trucks. Booths are 10 x 10-foot and come with a 6-foot table.

Sponsorships are available for $250 up to $1,000. Sponsors will receive a vendor booth and will be recognized in the event program, on Posters and on Postcards.

Guelph Print shops are often asked to provide advertising materials for festivals like this.

Vegfest Guelph will be held at Riverside Park on September 22 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free, but a $2 donation is suggested. Call 519-831-2003 for the most current information.
