The Livestock From The Bullring concert series will return to the University of Guelph campus this summer with a live-streamed concert by Hannah Georgas.
Georgas will perform at The Bullring, Guelph’s venerable cattle ring turned student pub that has been in existence for over a century and is known for its unique atmosphere. Her set will be streamed live through Twitch.
The Juno-nominated singer-songwriter is known for her lyrically complex pop songs. In the past, Georgas has toured alongside performers such as Kathleen Edwards and City and Color. She is playing in support of her 2020 LP All That Emotion, which received critical plaudits. The concert is presented by the University of Guelph’s Central Student Association.
The Georgas concert is part of the Livestock At The Bullring series, which the Student Association began in 2020. Past artists featured in the series have included folk-rock collective The Lifers and roots artist Terra Lightfoot. The concerts are supported by the University of Guelph’s Undergraduate Entertainment Media Fee. Virtual and live-streamed concerts have become a musical staple over the past year, often combining time-tested promotional methods such as banner printing with new social media platforms.
Hannah Georgas’ performance at The Bullring will take place on the evening of September 23 and will be streamed for free on the Livestock From The Bullring Twitch channel.
