Market Square rink in Guelph is set to be the venue of a synchronised skating event this Friday. The show will be hosted by the Downtown Guelph Business Association.
This event is part of the group’s 'Fourth Friday' programme and will feature members from the Guelph Gryphons Varsity Figure Skating group. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to notify residents in this community and the surrounding areas about this demonstration event.
This demonstration event was planned to showcase the skills of this skating team for the public to enjoy. Residents and visitors will be able to watch at the Guelph Gryphons spin, twirl, lift, and rotate in unison. It is a sight to be seen.
It is expected to be a great fun filled family event and all ages are welcome. Guests are reminded to dress warm, as this is an outdoor event. Between performances, the team members of the Guelph Gryphons will share their knowledge and offer skating advice to the public.
Fourth Fridays was designed to involve community members and introduce them to cultural programs, such as spoken word, musical performances, art installations, and the many other events that occur in the downtown core of the City of Guelph.
Admission is free and all are welcome. The Synchronized Skating at Market Square is happening on Friday January 25 from 7pm to 10pm at the downtown Market Square. The square is located at 59 Carden Street in Guelph, Ontario. For additional information, visit the Downtown Guelph Business Association website.
