The Party in the Park summer festival will be returning to Guelph/Eramosa Township this August, offering outdoor fun for people throughout the Guelph area.
The annual event features a variety of live entertainment and family-friendly activities. One change from last year’s edition will be the return of the Artisan Market, featuring arts and crafts vendors from across Southern Ontario. Events like these can be major opportunities for artisans to connect with customers, often using Business Cards or other memorable items to distribute contact information. Also returning will be one of the festival’s most popular events, the Weiner Dog Dash, where dachshunds race to see who will be the first to get the treat. Registration fees will be donated to the Ontario chapter of the Canadian Dachshund Rescue organization.
Other family-friendly attractions include a petting zoo, bouncy castles and face painting, while older visitors can try their hand at axe throwing. There will be food trucks throughout the park and alcoholic drinks within a licensed area. Musical acts will play throughout the night, with a specific line-up to be announced, all leading up to a fireworks show after dusk. The festival is designed to kick off the Civic Holiday Weekend and highlight the Guelph/Eramosa Township area.
Party in the Park 2024 will take place on August 1 at Rockmosa Park in Guelph/Eramosa Township.
