The event will feature numerous local vendors in areas such as clothing, jewelry, skincare and more. The event is organized by Vivien Graham Wax Works and includes businesses such as Sujena Art and Transient Turtle. Adult attendees can also enjoy drinks from Royal City Brewing Company while they browse, hence the “Sip n Shop” name. The chance to meet and interact with local artisans is emphasized in promotional materials:
“...this event promises a fun and welcoming atmosphere that is family friendly and accessible. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with local artisans and find one-of-a-kind treasures. Mark your calendar and bring your friends along for a delightful holiday shopping experience!”
The marketplace will also include live music from local artist CJ Cooper, and fresh food and drink from area vendors. The event will also be raising money for Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis. Markets like this, often advertised through flyer printing and social media, are especially popular around the holiday season as a way to find unique, locally-created gift.
The 2024 Women in Craft Holiday Sip n Shop will take place at the Royal City Brewing Company in Guelph on the afternoon of December 8.
