Guelph business organization selects new president

The Guelph Chamber of Commerce recently announced that, after an extensive search, it has chosen the successful candidate to fill the role of president and CEO.

The person selected is Kithio Mwanzia, who will be installed into his new position on January 25th of 2015. According to the Chamber, it is excited about the passion he will bring to the role, and is confident that he will be the right person for the job.

Mr. Mwanzia, who graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy, brings to the job a lot of previous experience in the field of government relations management and communications. He has formerly held positions on the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce and the St. Catherines-Thorould Chamber.

According to Mr. Mwanzia, he is looking forward to living in Guelph and getting to know the community a lot better, especially its downtown core. He’s also planning to spend time exploring the area’s mountain bike trails and other attractions. He feels that the city is headed in a positive direction, and is pleased to have been selected for his new role with the Chamber.

He may well wish to purchase new Business Cards that have been printed with his new contact information, and a firm that provides digital business cards will be able to create these to his exact specifications.
