American Eagle To Offer New Jet Service To Waterloo And Guelph Region

A recent service expansion by American Eagle Airlines’ could prompt a massive advertising campaign to areas that are serviced by the Kitchener airport, like Guelph, ON.

Beginning June 14,2012 American Eagle will launch round trip service between the busy Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Kitchener, a move that will make flying more convenient for people in the area needing service to Chicago. The scheduled jet service is designed to connect tourists and business people needing to depart for a day trip to Chicago or connect through it to access a key international gateway. Chicago is the main and largest hub of American Airlines.

The service expansion by a majour US player in the airline market is a significant triumph for the entire Waterloo region and for cities in close proximity, like Guelph, and will create a significant economic impact in the area.

Following the announcement by American Eagle will likely be many advertisements by the carrier and the Waterloo Tourist Board highlighting fare promotions and the new scheduled services. Poster printing and magazine advertisements are expected to follow in the months ahead to encourage residents in the area to depart on the 13 round trip flight per week schedule on Embraer Regional Jets.
