St. John’s SPCA organization serves as a lifeline for unwanted, abandoned and abused animals, and it has a fundraiser in the works that it hopes will help everyone have a “hoppy” Easter season.
The organization is running its Easter Cookie Kit fundraiser, and the proceeds will help it care for its charges as well as educate the public about animal welfare. Once ordered, the kits will be available for pickup in early April, and each one is priced at $18.00 each.
This will be the first year that the group has run this fundraising campaign, and each is filled with six cookies as well as sprinkles and icing.
