There can be something very rewarding about getting one’s hands dirty by working in the garden, and those who volunteer with a Vancouver project will be able to enjoy this experience.
The Edible Garden Project is seeking helping hands, and a volunteer information and orientation session will be offered to budding volunteers. Participants will find out about the various opportunities available as a volunteer with the Project –there are positions that need to be filled with the markets, children's activities and the farm site proper – along with how and when they can get involved. There will be seasoned volunteers to meet, as well as others who work with the programs,. The session will take place outdoors, and everyone is reminded to dress for the weather.
Volunteers are often the lifeblood of a not-for-profit group like this. A printer can craft items to present to such individuals to thank them for their support, and these may include an assortment of Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, lanyards, and other items.
The Edible Garden Project’s June 2025 Volunteer Orientation & Info Session will be on offer on June 4th. It will start at 9:00 am at Loutet Farm, which is located at 1400 Rufus Avenue in North Vancouver. The registration system for the activity is set to open in early May via Eventbrite.
