North Vancouver Chamber plans Seaspan tour
The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce offers its membership opportunities to participate in a variety of activities throughout the year, and one upcoming event will provide an insider’s view of a local shipyard.
A tour of Seaspan has been scheduled by the organization. Only a limited number of spaces are on offer, and it is being held exclusively for those who have never taken part on the outing before.
When they arrive for the tour, the participants will each receive a pair of loaner steel-toed boots, as well as a safety vest, courtesy of Seaspan. Attendees will be asked to provide their sizes when they sign up. Everyone will be able to see a variety of ship-building projects that are being worked on, and they can ask questions as well. A short presentation will open the activity.
A Chamber of Commerce may serve as a collective voice for its membership while also providing training and advocacy opportunities. A printing company can prepare a variety of informational materials for an organization, as well as promotional pens and other custom print products.
The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce has scheduled this sneak peek into the daily life of Seaspan Shipyard for October 15th. It is located at 2 Pemberton Avenue, and the tour will begin at 10:00 am. Registration is free.
