This June will see the return of one of North Vancouver’s most challenging charity events. Seek the Peak, the event that sees participants run a difficult trail up to the Peak of Vancouver, will be taking place next month.
The run features a 15-kilometre course that winds across West and North Vancouver, before ascending a trail along Grouse Grind to reach the Peak. This includes a difficult ascent up what is known as the Heaven’s Sake ski run during the winter. From beach to summit, the course ascends a total of 1400 metres. Participants can enter in teams of 2-4 to split up the legs of the race or attempt it solo. The top finishers will receive awards during a mountaintop celebration. All runners will receive a custom 2023 Seek the Peak T-Shirt.
Seek the Peak will also be raising money for the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation. The Grouse Mountain organization has announced that it will be matching donations up to $20, 000. The charity works to promote conservation and education concerning parks within the greater Vancouver area, including Grouse Mountain. Charity runs such as this, often offering custom awards and Promotional Products to runners, can be a major contributor to local nonprofit funding.
The 2023 edition of Seek the Peak will take place on the morning of June 10, starting at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
