Annual celebration of the arts returns to the North Shore

The North Shore Culture Days festival is coming back to North Vancouver on the last weekend of this month.

This annual celebration of the arts will see a range of activities taking place at many venues in West and North Vancouver. There will be hands-on art activities, behind-the-scenes tours and workshops.

The Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art will be offering a sneak preview of the exhibit AFK Canadian First People. The gallery will also be having a teen open mic night, a Laudale Singers gallery singalong and a musical petting zoo.

The Shipyards Night Market will be hosting the festival kick-off on September 29 from 4:45 PM to 11:00 PM.

The Lonsdale Quay area will have outdoor piano performances, a press Print craft creating cards at the John Braithwaite Community Center, a create-your-own-art activity at the Cityscape Community Art Space and a Middle Eastern dance workshop.

The festival will likely attract people of all ages from the North Vancouver area. To advertise, organizers may invest in items such as Flyers and Brochures that can be inserted into local newspapers.

North Shore Culture Days will take place from September 29 to October 1. Admission to all events is free of charge. For the most current information about all of the events taking place, visit the official event website.
