Abbotsford evening to feature locally sourced food

The Abbotsford Fire Fighters Association works 365 days a year to keep the community safe in a variety of ways, and one of its initiatives will welcome diners this fall.

The organization’s first Harvest Fest was such a success that the decision was made to bring it back for another year. It will bring neighbours together to celebrate the area's agricultural sector, and while everyone enjoys themselves, they will be doing a good turn for local youths in crisis.

The plans for the evening will kick off with a cocktail hour, then it will be time for supper featuring locally sourced ingredients where possible. A silent auction, axe throwing and live entertainment are all also on the agenda. Everyone can have some fun shots taken with an antique fire truck background in the photo booth, and at the end of the event, the proceeds will be passed along to the gathering’s charity of choice, which is Cyrus Centre Abbotsford. The dress code is casual country, and guests must be at least 19 years old.

A fundraiser is often only as successful as the materials made to market it. A poster printing company can provide attention-grabbing promotional materials for such an event.

Tickets to enjoy this special occasion are on offer now through its Eventbrite listing. It will begin at 5:30 on September 23rd at 32470 Haida Drive.
