Environment Week is coming up in Red Deer at the beginning of June. This year's theme is "Think, Breathe, Live". The event is a joint presentation of several organisations, including Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development.
There will be a variety of events and workshops held throughout the week. This includes the Lunch Bag Seminar Series at the library, which will cover topics such as aquaponics with Rene Michalak, pollination with Bill Heinsen, and ‘Living with a Green Roof’ presented by George Berry.
Another major event taking place during the week is the 4th annual Red Deer Enviro Fair. This will take place at the Red Deer Provincial Building and will feature a number of information booths from companies and organizations that are dedicated to the environment. The week will be rounded off with ‘Kick it to the Curb’, a two day event which will concentrate on recycling items within the community.
Many of those planning to hand out information during the fair may choose to have Booklets or Brochures made. Red Deer printing companies are often called upon to provide such products.
Environment Week is running from June 2nd to 8th. The Red Deer Enviro Fair will be held at the Provincial Building on June 4th from 10:00am - 2:00pm. To learn more, visit the City of Red Deer website.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Booklets
