Red Deer welcomes return of family festivities

Childhood can be a time of fun and laughter, and the 20th annual Central Alberta Children's Festival will help put a smile on local children’s faces.

Red Deer’s Recreation Centre Park will be the venue for the two days of festivities, which will take place outdoors. The festival will offer lots of hands-on activities, and these will all be covered by the gate admission.

The event will bring together children, parents and school groups. Interactive exhibits, live entertainment and games will be held during the day, with 30 community partners setting up shop under the tents. Attendees will be invited to join a crafting session, watch a performance, and take part in learning experiences. The popular Friday evening family dance and BBQ, as well as the Saturday pancake breakfast, will be back.

The festival is counting on the willing spirit of volunteers, as well as the generosity of its corporate community. The name, branding and contact details of an event's supporters can be included in the marketing materials prepared for it by a banner printing company, which can also prepare volunteer and vendor application Forms.

This year’s Central Alberta Children's Festival will bring family-friendly fun to Red Deer on June 5th and 6th. Anyone interested in learning more or who would like to submit a sponsor or volunteer application form can find more details on the function’s website.
