Picking a pumpkin is a cherished seasonal tradition for many Red Deer families, and an area farm will soon offer this experience, plus lots more.
The Jungle Farm will soon be opening its pick-your-own pumpkin patch to the public, and everyone will be able to choose the gourd that catches their eye. They will be harvested right off the vine, and will be ready to use for pies and treats, as well as for seasonal decor.
Pumpkin Season officially kicks off at the farm in early September, and the activity will take full advantage of the crisp autumn air. As well as the gourds, there will be fall strawberries to pick, in addition to other produce available for purchase. Light refreshments may also be purchased on site. There will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures of all the excitement, and the season will run through to Thanksgiving, for as long as the pumpkins are still available.
Open farmsteads, produce markets and harvest fairs all take full advantage of the season. Weatherproof signage, venue maps and other materials for a seasonal function hosted outside can be crafted to order by a banner printing company.
The Jungle Farm has cordially invited everyone to drop by for its Pumpkin Season starting on September 1st. Anyone who would like to drop by can find it at 28120 Township Road 362, Red Deer County.
