Red Deer market to hold holiday edition

The Red Deer MADE market, an event that brings together local crafters and small businesses, will be holding a special holiday edition this December.

This event, called the Red Deer MADE Christmas Market, will aim to connect local artisans and stores with people looking for unique stocking-stuffers. The event will feature over 100 exhibitors, offering products such as local nature prints by Tyler Thompson and drinks from Spirit Hills Winery. More vendors will be announced in the lead-up to the event, with organizers especially encouraging candle makers, jewelers, food vendors, and others involved in hand-made crafts. The market is held by Opulence Events, which holds similar markets in locations like Marda and Cochrane, as well as regular MADE markets multiple times throughout the year in Red Deer.

The MADE Christmas Market offers free admission and parking, as well as give-aways designed to get people in the doors. Those who purchase a digital ticket ahead of time will be entered into a draw for “MADE Market Bucks” that can be used anywhere at the market, with ten winners drawn per day.
