The 21st Festival of Trees is taking place this November in Red Deer. It is hosted by the Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation, and proceeds will go to help improve the obstetrical operating room.
There are expected to be up to 70 decorated Christmas trees this year; all have been decorated by local businesses or individuals. The trees are then auctioned off or can be bought outright. The general public also votes on the ‘People's Choice’.
The festival starts off with the Light the Night event, which will feature children's activities, Santa's Workshop, and tree decorating in City Hall Park.
There are many other events going on during the Festival of Trees, including a business luncheon, an adult Christmas masquerade party, fashion shows and breakfast with Santa. One special event is Mistletoe Magic, which is a dinner party for girls and their fathers.
Candy Cane Lane will be open throughout the festival, and will be filled with activities and treats for the kids.
Some of those decorating the trees may have used paper products such as Banners to make their trees more festive looking. For this, they would most likely look for help from Red Deer banner printing companies.
The Festival of Trees is being held at Westerner Park's Prairie Pavilion on November 22nd and November 26th to 30th. Standard admission is $6, while it is $3 for seniors and those between the ages of 12 and 17.Get a Free Quote for Banners
