Red Deer event to welcome areas legal community
Members of the Central Alberta Bar Society (CABS) are set to take their seats for a special evening, and it will be taking place at a venue in Red Deer.
The Red Deer Resort & Casino has been selected to be the location for CABS’s Bench and Bar Dinner, and tickets may be purchased now. The proceeds from the event will be used to help fund the Community Legal Clinic and other causes, and they start at $110 each.
During the “business” portion of the gathering, there will be new appointments, as well as an introduction of new members, retirees and in memoriam announcements. This will be paired with a performance by a local jazz vocalist and live music. Upon arrival, each participant will receive a themed drink, along with a complimentary drink ticket. The suggested attire for the festivities is business or Hawaiian.
The special guest speaker for the evening will be the Honourable Chief Justice Ritu Khulla, and the guests can meet, mingle and build connections. Printed programs and other materials required for such an occasion can be crafted by a local brochure printing company.
The Central Alberta Bar Society Bench and Bar Dinner will be on offer on May 25th at the Red Deer Resort & Casino. A registration link and more information for anyone who would like to take part can be found on Eventbrite.
