Red Deer cultural festival given 2015 go-ahead

The Red Deer Music and Arts Festival will be taking place in October at Mt. Samson, after the local authorities recently granted permission to organizers.

The festival, in previous years, was only operating on a council permit that was temporary, but it now will be returning on a permanent permit granted by Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Red Deer Festival organizer Sean Graham said:

“It was pretty stressful and pretty taxing but we’re super excited about getting it because it means we have more security and permanency on this site.”

According to Graham, the festival will remain a relatively low-scale event, only selling tickets to approximately 1,000 patrons in order to look after the surrounding community and neighbourhood areas.

The festival’s organizers have spent almost two years ensuring that the site is an ideal location to host the Red Deer event permanently.

A local Print company can help organizers prepare for events like the Red Deer Music and Art Festival by offering their services. They can provide flyer printing to spread information throughout the community.

Performers who have attended the festival in the past include The Grates, Regurgitator, and The Kite String Tangle, who is also known as Danny Harley.

Tickets have already started going on sale this month, and can now be bought online on the event’s official website.
