Kennel Club to host November dog event
The Red Deer and District Kennel Club is presenting the Fall 2013 Dog Show over three days next month.
The show is set to consist of three all-breed conformation shows and a number of obedience trials. There will also be several contests to take part in, including the Scent Hurdle race and a Brace competition. As well as this, the services of a CERF eye clinic will be offered by appointment and guests can let their dogs take part in the Canine Good Neighbour Test.
The Doggie Flea Market and Garage Sale is set to offer a wide variety of dog-related items for attendees to take home. Local rescue and breed-specific organizations will also be on hand to provide information and host demonstrations.
Vendors have likely been working with Red Deer print companies to prepare for the upcoming event. They might want to let current customers know they will be selling their wares during the show and will be looking to encourage them to attend; this might consist of flyers distributed with bill mailings. Brochure printing companies may have also been called upon to produce brochures and programmes for the event itself.
The Fall 2013 Dog Show is taking place at the AG Center at the Westerner Grounds from November 1 to 3. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 3-12 and free for seniors; a family pass is $25. To find out more about the event, contact Joan McMurphy at 780-532-9969.
