Expo to showcase latest in home improvement products
The 37th annual Red Deer Home Show is taking place over three days next month. It is presented by the Canadian Home Builders' Association, Central Alberta.
There are over 250
exhibitors expected to be on hand to showcase their products and services. This will include appliance manufacturers, hot tub retailers, landscape designers and window installers. Many of them will be awarding door prizes or giving away free samples and promotional products.
The show will feature several guest speakers including Kate Campbell of several HGTV shows including "Decked Out" and "Deck Wars." Carol Kelly from the Medicine River Wildlife Centre will be giving a talk on "Living with our wild neighbours"; her special guest will be Otis the Owl.
The 2nd annual Playhouse Raffle will be raising funds for Julietta's Place temporary housing facility. Tickets will be sold at the show; last year this event raised over $6,000 for Women's Outreach.
This annual event usually attracts around 1,000 visitors from the Timmins area. Local printing companies often provide flyer printing services to advertise it in the community.
The Red Deer Home Show will be held at Westerner Park from March 4 to 6. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and free for children aged 12 and under. To learn more about the event, call 403-346-5321.
