Christmas shopping season takes off in Red Deer
For those in Red Deer who have not finished their Christmas shopping, there will be two weekend markets taking place next month.
The first one will be the 3rd annual Christmas Market at Dentoom's Greenhouses and Blue Grass Sod Farms. It will take place every Sunday. Visitors will be able to purchase items from direct sales companies such as Scentsy and Mary Kay, as well as local small businesses.
Parkland Garden Centre is also holding a craft market on two Saturdays in December. Artisans and crafters from all over the area will be selling unique and handmade items such as art, jewelry, clothing and Christmas decorations. Visitors are also asked to bring donations for the Red Deer Food Bank.
Both of these Red Deer events will be not only helpful for shoppers, but it will allow artisans and small business owners to become better known in the community. Many may decide to invest in postcard printing services to have a picture of their items to hand out with contact information on the back.
