Annual art show lights up Red Deer
The 3rd annual Nuit Blanche is taking place at the end of this month in Red Deer.
The event is set to feature live art installations in which the public can participate. Most of the art installations will have some sort of lighting component. There will also be a chill out zone, a twitching booth, and demonstrations from various visual artists.
The Artisan Vendors Village will feature painters, sculptors, crafts, knitters, bakers, and others who will be selling their handmade items. Other local vendors will also be on hand to sell merchandise.
Food Truck Alley will offer plenty of dishes to try from at least six different food trucks. The children will have lots to do in the Kids Zone and their parents can enjoy craft beer in the beer gardens. Local musicians will also be entertaining the crowd.
Compose Magazine will be hosting an after party at a yet-to-be-disclosed venue.
This Red Deer event is expected to attract over 5,000 visitors. To make sure as many people know about it as possible, organizers might contact a local print company to provide them with advertising materials such as flyers.
Nuit Blanche will take place at Rotary Recreational Park on September 26 from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Admission is free. To get the most up-to-date information about this event, visit the official Facebook page.
