Calgary cat fans will be congregating at a local venue for a festival that will put felines first.
The organizers of the Calgary Cat Festival and Market will be pulling out all the stops to make it an experience its attendees will remember. It will be open for two days in mid-September, and while the attendees enjoy themselves, they will be helping local rescue and rehoming groups keep their doors open.
Hosted at the Great Contemporary in Calgary, the festival will include an area for meeting cats and learning more about adoption process. There will also be a pop-up style vendor market, and while they browse, the participants will be supporting their home town’s small business community. There will be an assortment of competitions and other fun, and more details will be released as its date approaches.
