Father’s Day is a time to show dad how much he matters, and Calgary families are on the guest list for a day of festivities on offer at a local venue.
The Hanger Flight Museum will be offering dads some high flying fun. Dubbed “Wings and Wheels”, it will run throughout its scheduled weekend, and tickets may be purchased in advance.
The activity will bring together vintage land and air vehicles, and there will be lots to see and do. Everyone can view the cars, trucks and their entries in the show and shine, and local car clubs and individual collectors are welcome to apply to take part. An assortment of aircraft will be open so the guests can view their flight decks, and there will also be aviation-themed crafting experiences. This is the only time of the year when multiple aircraft are open at the same time for tours.
Many venues have special activities planned with Father's Day in mind, marketing materials as well as themed Promotional Products to hand out to the dads that attend can be prepared for an event by a local printer.
The Hanger Flight Museum will be giving dads a tip of the hat with its “Wings and Wheels” celebration on June 20th and 21st. Tickets and a link to apply to be part of the show and shine are both included in its online listing.
