A Calgary event will soon be making the most of a crisp autumn day when its residents lace up their sneakers and hit the road for a walk that will support the work of the Wilder Institute at the Calgary Zoo.
The organization’s Wild Walk will welcome walkers, runners and those who require a mobility device who would like to lend wildlife a helping hand. Booster Juice has signed on as its signature sponsor, and there will be fun for the whole family.
The participants will be able to enjoy animal meet and greets and other encounters along the way, and there will also be live entertainment. Registration will open at 8:30 am at the Jayman BUILT Plaza , and the Walk itself will start at 9:00 am. A breakfast buffet is included, and those who sign up will be offered full-day access to the Zoo. Special Promotional Products will be distributed for as long as supplies last. Members of Wild Journey and Wildlife Guardian will receive commemorative pins as well.
