Calgary venue plans nature-based fun
The Bow Habitat Station offers insight into area wildlife during its Discovery Days on selected dates throughout the year, and its third instalment has been scheduled for next month.
The Calgary venue has invited local families to be part of this program, which is designed to make learning fun. Each instalment focuses on a particular topic, and April’s theme will be “Wake Up Nature”.
The activity will provide a warm welcome to spring. There will be community partners on hand with exhibits and activities to enjoy, and it will explore how nature reawakens after a long winter. The session will be running throughout the day, and admission passes, which may be purchased both in advance and at the door, start at $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for youth. A discount is also offered to seniors, and kids age three and under may enter for free. A discounted Family Pass is available at the venue only.
