A lazy summer Saturday can feel like it has been made for browsing and buying at an outdoor market, and YYC Made has made plans to host just such an event.
This outdoor pop-up style market will be putting Calgary makers front and centre, and it will be set up at the Marda Loop Community Association Hall. It will feature local makers, artisans and gourmet food, and anyone who would like to enjoy sampling small batch beers and wine will be invited to do so in the indoor tasting room.
Admission to the function is free of charge, and when members of the public arrive, they will find plenty to see and do. More than 80 vendor tents will be set up, and the celebration will be pet friendly. The gates will open at 10:30 am, and the fun will keep on going until 4:00 pm.
The planners of the day have noted there may be spaces available for additional small businesses to get involved. Those that would like to do so may wish to get in touch with an area business card printing company, so they will have a supply of these marketing materials on hand for the occasion.
The Marda Loop Communities Association will be hosting its JulyFest outdoor market on July 24th. Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities.
